Less is always More

I saw a documentary on the history of Cardinal Gin  and I really like the bottle. Its simple yet detailed (if that makes sense). I think having the main focus on the cardinal image helps simply the brand recognition. The simple overall design allows the small details to really strengthen the overall picture.  Yes its simple, literal and straight forward but that’s what makes some brands brand more successful than others. I guess if there were feather textures, shading to create depth and other artistic details the bottle would need to be  dark or solid, you would lose the main focus it due to your eyes being strained to observe the image.
